This piece is beautifully crafted, hardwood, with mirror on one side and painted bird scene on the other. This piece of oriental history will look great in your home either as a centerpiece or on your favorite bureau. I believe this is made of rosewood or teak. The last time I had it looked at the dealer said it came from a province in Japan during the 2 world war. Item is in fairly good condition with one spot that has been reattached, after being salvaged from my grandmothers home. please view the pictures I have attached for better dscription of this item.
